岩手県雫石町の小岩井農場の一本桜は平成19年ごろに放送されたNHK連続テレビ小説「どんど晴れ」のオープニングに使われたことで有名です。ゴールデンウィークのころに満開になるので地元の方だけでなく他府県からも多くの人が訪れます。この写真を撮影したのはゴールデンウィークの真っただ中、周辺は大混雑で駐車場になかなか入れなくて苦労した記憶があります。次は桜に雪の花が咲いたように見える冬に撮影してみたいと思っています。
